Coffee Origins

Exceptional Coffee from Distinct Growing Regions

The character of every coffee begins at origin. Climate, altitude, soil composition, and traditional cultivation practices all influence the flavor profile and quality of the beans.

Our coffees are sourced from carefully selected growing regions known for producing distinctive and high-quality green coffee. By working closely with farmers, cooperatives, and processing partners, we are able to identify exceptional coffee lots and prepare them for export to specialty coffee markets around the world.

Each origin offers unique characteristics that contribute to the diversity and complexity sought by specialty roasters.

Origin Selection & Quality

Our sourcing process focuses on regions that combine ideal coffee-growing conditions with strong cultivation traditions. Key factors we evaluate when selecting coffee origins include:

  • Altitude and microclimate
  • Soil composition
  • Coffee variety
  • Processing methods
  • Harvest practices
  • Quality consistency

All coffee lots are evaluated through professional grading and cupping procedures aligned with the protocols of the Specialty Coffee Association to ensure they meet international specialty coffee standards.

Coffee Processing Methods

The processing method plays a major role in determining the final flavor profile of coffee. We work with producers who utilize both traditional and modern processing techniques.

Washed (Fully Washed)

Washed coffees are fermented and washed to remove the fruit before drying. This method often produces clean, bright flavor profiles with pronounced acidity and clarity.

Natural (Dry Process)

Natural coffees are dried with the fruit still surrounding the bean. This process can create more intense fruit flavors, sweetness, and fuller body.

Honey Process

Honey-processed coffees fall between washed and natural methods. Some of the fruit mucilage remains during drying, producing balanced sweetness and complexity.

Traceable Coffee Lots

Traceability is an important part of our sourcing model. For many coffee lots we are able to provide detailed information about the origin of the coffee, including:

  • Region of production
  • Cooperative or washing station
  • Altitude range
  • Coffee variety
  • Harvest season
  • Processing method

This transparency allows roasters and importers to confidently communicate the origin story of their coffee to their customers.

Seasonal Availability

Coffee is a seasonal agricultural product. Harvest periods vary depending on the region and climate conditions of each producing area.

Our team works closely with origin partners throughout the harvest cycle to identify exceptional coffee lots and make them available to international buyers.

Buyers can contact our team or request samples to learn more about current harvest availability and upcoming export lots.
